Christu Raj School of nursing is established in the year 2002. It was another successful leap of sacred heart medical trust in the health scenario. It is recognized by Kerala Nurses and Mid Wives Councill Thiruvanthapuram and Indian Nursing Councill, New Delhi.

Mission and Vision

Inspired by the compassionate love of Jesus, sisters of Sacred Heart congregations St.Joseph’s province Thalessery started Christu Raj School of  Nursing to take part and continue the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. To bring up nurses motivated by the love of god and neighbor who is having mature judgment intellectually and morally enlightened and professionally equipped.

The primary objective is to train the students for the nursing and midwifery mainly from undeveloped and underdeveloped areas of Malabar irrespective of cast, creed or social status with a preferential option to the poor.

To prepare the student nurse to be skilled professionals in the field of nursing and enable them to function as efficient members of the health team.

To be competent in providing comprehensive health care to the individual as well to the community as a member of the health team.

Academic Policies

School of Nursing

The academic programme is 3 years and six moth’s duration and conduct General Nursing and Midwifery course. On successful completion of the course a certificate will be awarded to the students by the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council.

Management

Christu Raj School of Nursing also comes under the management of Sacred Heart Medical Trust, St. Joseph’s Province Thalassery.
